Dorothy's Ginger Cake



8oz Demerara Sugar
8oz Marg
8oz Syrup
3 Eggs
1 lb SR flour
4 level teasp ground ginger
2 level teasp Bi-Carb
1/2 pint milk

Cream sugar marg together
Blend eggs & syrup into mixture
Add flour ginger bi-carb

Boil milk & pour over mixture

Line a 12" Square roasting tin with parchment
Pour mixture into tin
Bake in centre of oven Gas mark 3 or160 Electric
For 1 hour
